This site is to help people that may not know how to become a citizen of this country. I'm just trying my best to see if I can help anyone at all escape a country that forces religion upon you, has a corrupt government, or dictatorship. To become a member of our wonderful nation you either have to be born in the USA or be naturalized.  I Was born in Switzerland but my mother is an American so I was given American citizenship as well as Swiss citizenship. Though I am just happy to be a part of the nation even in the littlest way. If you were not born into the family of a U.S. citizen then the only way to become a citizen (At this time) is through naturalization. The steps of naturalization are 1. stay in U.S. land for an extended period of time, 2. Declare residence in a USCIS district prior to filing, 3. have the ability to read, write, and understand/speak English, 4. a considerable knowlage of U.S. history/goverment, 5. have good moral character, 6. adhere to the principles of the U.S. Constitution, and 7. have a favorable outlook toward the U.S.
